Once you make this recipe, you'll be drinking stock daily! Homemade meat stock is the best way to get collagen, improve mood, digestion, detox, improve brain function, build stronger bones, and support the skin, liver, and heart.
Meat stocks are packed with vitamins and minerals and are a great way to break your addiction to coffee, sugar, and other sweets.

Recipe:
1 whole chicken, pheasant, or turkey
2-4 chicken, pheasant, or turkey feet (optional)
1-2 chicken, pheasant, or turkey heads (optional)
1-2 chicken, pheasant, or turkey backs, feet, or necks (optional)
4 or more quarts of purified water
1 medium yellow onion
2 carrots
3-4 celery stalks
2-3 bay leaves
Fresh thyme, rosemary, and sage
2 tbsp. raw apple cider vinegar
1-2 tsp Celtic Sea Salt
Directions:
*Optional: Roast meat for 45 minutes @375 and then proceed to step 1*
Cut the whole chicken, pheasant, or turkey in half down the middle lengthwise. Place in the pot with the feet, head, onion, carrots, and celery.
Fill the pot with purified water, vinegar, and salt. Allow to stand for 30 minutes, giving the raw apple cider vinegar time to draw minerals out of the bones.
Bring to a boil, Reduce the heat to a simmer and cook for chicken(2-4 hours), beef(4-6 hours), and fish(1-2 hours). Add herbs during the last 10 minutes of cooking.
Remove the chicken, pheasant, or turkey and other large parts. Debone and reserve the meat for eating or to make a soup.
Strain the meat stock. Consume 2 cups daily.
Add vegetables and meat back to stock to make a soup.
Optional Step:
- Roast all of the meat and bones for about 40-45 minutes on 375 before step 1. This gives it a bit extra flavor.
